Who we are – The EU Institute at a glance
Since 2000, the EU Institute – Institute for European Economics – has stood for a clear mission: to actively shape Europe’s economy.
Our roots go back to the 1990s, when we, as a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG), enabled cross-border cooperation under a common legal framework – a principle we still live by today.
As an independent, member-supported institution, we offer free information and educational sessions and promote access to knowledge and networks throughout Europe. Our particular focus is on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), helping them master internationalization processes and enter new markets.
With an interdisciplinary team from the fields of finance, law, and project management, we are committed to a strong, cooperative Europe – reliable, impact-oriented, and future-oriented.
