A growing amount of companies in Europe want their products or services to be sold in other member states of the European Union.
Despite the fact that there is something like a European Union, still big differences occur between different EU member states. Besides cultural differences, there is also a great amount of legal and fiscal differences, for which the national governments are responsible. It is of great necessity to take a good look at differences in regulation in a certain line of business and differences in regulation in a certain country (for example province or state). The process of internationalization provides in a raising need for profound and professional knowledge.
To be able to answer this need and to join together experience, know-how and competence, the “Institut für Europäische Wirtschafstförderung” was founded.
Since the institute takes position throughout the entire of Europe, the type of legal entity of an European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) was chosen. This EEIG is the first European legal entity to form a framework for a cooperation of companies from all over Europe.
